Since 1989, Haitian Emmanuel Baptist Church Missions Department has been bringing the love and teachings of Jesus Christ to communities that need it most — at home in Miami and across the globe. Over three decades, we have witnessed lives transformed, congregations renewed, and families lifted out of hardship by the faithfulness of those who answer the call.
We believe the Gospel is the source of true and lasting change. When people are equipped with truth, educated with purpose, and supported with tangible care, communities don’t just survive — they thrive. That is why we evangelize, educate, and empower: carrying the love of Christ into every initiative with diligence, compassion, and deep commitment.
Our Impacts
Ten Emmanuel Baptist Churches planted across Haiti — each led by a trained pastor and built to serve their communities long-term. Through SMBEH, we stay connected through leadership training, pastoral support, and mission trips alongside local leaders. We build schools, fully sponsor students, support churches as they reach vulnerable families, and drive community development projects that create lasting change. We don’t believe in planting and move on. We invest until every church is rooted, every child is in school, and every community has a reason for hope.
