In Haiti, fewer than 1 in 100 young people will ever earn a university degree* — not for lack of drive, but because the cost of higher education places it out of reach for the vast majority of families, including the small number of students who successfully complete secondary school. The Youth Scholarships Initiative provides full and partial scholarships for higher education and professional school, equipping students to build futures that transform not only their own lives, but their families and communities.

We recognize that the path forward looks different for every student. For those pursuing university degrees, we fund tuition, enrollment fees, and essential academic materials. For those whose calling leads to a trade, a technical career, or a professional certification, we partner with accredited vocational and professional schools — because a skilled electrician, a trained nurse, or a certified technician carries just as much dignity and impact as any college graduate.
Students are identified through our network of local church partners and field missionaries who know their communities best. Each candidate is evaluated on financial need, character, and commitment — not just academic performance. Once selected, scholars receive not only financial support but ongoing mentorship throughout their studies.
We walk with our scholars from enrollment to graduation. Regular check-ins, pastoral support, and connections to internship or employment opportunities ensure that a scholarship is just the beginning — not the whole story.
