Pastor Care Fund

Pastors give everything — their time, their energy, their families. Ministry is demanding. Life still happens. Their commitment to the calling of God is an act of obedience, and it doesn’t come without cost.

Most pastors serving rural and semi-urban congregations in Haiti receive no salary. They preach on Sundays, counsel families through conflict and grief, conduct funerals, mediate disputes, and organize whatever resources their church has — often while running a small trade or tending a plot of land to feed their own households. The churches they lead are small. The members they serve are also under financial pressure. Asking consistently for a tithe when your congregation earns little creates a cycle that leaves pastors unsupported and congregations fragile.

We could never fully repay what they pour out. But the Pastoral Care Fund exists to make sure they’re not carrying it alone. It covers the practical needs that don’t make it into a budget line: an unexpected medical expense, a repair, a moment of breathing room in a season of pressure.
